Our farm-fresh eggs are available in the self-serve cooler by the road on an honor system. Venmo is accepted and preferred, but cash may also be left in the cooler.
Availability varies throughout the year depending on the season and how productive the hens are feeling.
Our hens lay a variety of egg colors, so you will see shades of brown, white, olive, green, blue and speckled!
NEW TO FARM FRESH EGGS?
Our eggs are collected daily and sold unwashed. Below are some tips for storage and use.
STORAGE
Unwashed eggs can be stored on the counter for 2 - 4 weeks.
Refridgerated eggs can last 3 - 6 months.
WASHING
Farm eggs have a natural protective coating called the "bloom", which helps protect the egg from bacteria.
Wash eggs with warm water just before use. Do not use soaps or cleaners - warm water and a light scrubbing are sufficient.
Once washed, eggs should be refridgerated.
We have a sign by the road so you know you're in the right place. The eggs are self serve in a cooler by the fence.
There are instructions on the cooler. If the eggs are gone for the day, the sign should be flipped up and say "Sorry No Eggs". They go quickly!
